>Release: NetBSD-current 11/30/98
>Environment:
System: NetBSD wsrcc.com 1.3I NetBSD 1.3I (WSRCC) #0: Mon Nov 30 05:06:18 PST 1998 root@wsrcc.com:/amd/capsicum.wsrcc.com/v/src/netbsd/NetBSD-current/usr/src/sys/arch/sparc/compile/WSRCC sparc
>Description:
df displays wrong "Blocks Used" and wrong "Capacity" for
NFS-ed FS when displaying on a sparc and exporting from an
i386 system. NB. "/u/wolfgang" is a directory type mount.
The whole exported FS is "/u"
>How-To-Repeat:
exported from NetBSD-current/i386 (capsicum), displayed on
NetBSD-current/sparc (wsrcc).
wsrcc $ df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
[...]
capsicum.wsrcc.com:/u/wolfgang 0 -3521829 642869 99% /amd/capsicum.wsrcc.com/u/wolfgang
exported from NetBSD-current/i386 (capsicum), displayed on
NetBSD-current/i386 (scoville).
scoville $ df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
[...]
capsicum:/u/wolfgang 3521829 2878969 466768 86% /amd/capsicum/u/wolfgang
NB: scoville and capsicum are built from 12/2/98 sources.
Notice that scoville (an i386) system displays the correct data.
The sparc seems to be confused, perhaps due to an overflow problem
(???) that is compiler specific.
