>Description:
Here's a new package for dt-1.1.6 at
<ftp://ftp.enteract.com/users/fb/dt-pkg.tar.gz>. "dt" doesn't
currently have a home. The distfile, courtesy of Colin Wood, can be
found at <ftp://ftp.enteract.com/users/fb/dt-1.1.6.tar.gz>. This
needs to be placed manually into distfiles on ftp.netbsd.org. I'm
not prepared to provide a permanent home for it, myself, because of
bandwidth limitations imposed by my isp for my class of account.
Any interested parties are welcome to download it, however, while
it's available.
"dt" has heretofore been the "standard" virtual console emulator for
mac68k. I feel it appropriate to get mildly creative with "IGNORE",
as the "ONLY_FOR_ARCHS" mechanism doesn't exactly do the job. There's
approximately zero chance that "dt" will ever run on most other m68k
ports, whereas there's a real chance it will be useful to macppc,
which share's some of mac68k's devices.
