>Environment:
New motherboard (Alton M590), AMD 3 @350Mz
System: NetBSD netman2.bcpl.net 1.3.2 NetBSD 1.3.2 (NETMAN2) #2: Mon Dec 7 16:57:50 EST 1998 jim@netman2.bcpl.net:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/NETMAN2 i386
>Description:
On bootup from generic kernel or custom one, the SCSI drive 0
is not found. Boot is from IDE drive. SCSI devices found properly
include Jaz and CD-ROM drive. The Quantum drive was accessible on
1.3.2 on my old motherboard, a Cyrix 486 DX2-80, using an Adaptec
2842 VLbus adapter.

>How-To-Repeat:
Happens every time on boot.
>Fix:
Don't know. The drive is visible under Win98, and I have not changed
the cabling on the device side.
