System: NetBSD giauzar 1.3I NetBSD 1.3I (GIAUZAR) #3: Wed Nov 25 09:52:24 MST 1998 root@rigel:/usr/src/current/src/sys/arch/alpha/compile/GIAUZAR alpha
>Description:
I have a Realtek 8029 Ethernet on ne0 on my alpha. According to ifconfig -m,
and Jason Thorpe, this card should support full duplex. (yes, I have a
switch that suppots it.)
Unfortunately, I cannot activate full duplex on this card for some reason.
When i se the mediaopt to FDX, it never lights the FDX lights on the switch,
and ttcp tests do not show any improvement.
giauzar# ifconfig -m ne0
ne0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
media: Ethernet autoselect (10baseT)

media 10base2
