System: NetBSD trillium.nmsu.edu 1.3.2 NetBSD 1.3.2 (TRILLIUM) #0: Tue Dec 1 16:12:07 MST 1998 root@aster.nmsu.edu:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/TRILLIUM i386
>Description:
many software packages are available for computational biology/bioinformatics/etc.
none are in our packages system
>How-To-Repeat:
>Fix:
a preliminary package for several biology programs to add to the
package system is available at:
ftp://evolution.nmsu.edu/pub/biology.tar.gz
it should be possible to simply untar it into an existing pkgsrc
distribution, add the biology subdir to the root Makefile,
and go. there may be a few small changes to do (like adding
CVS tags or whatever), but otherwise these packages should all
work. i've compiled them all on 1.3.2/i386.
note that this creates a new category for packages: biology
