You're right! I withdraw my patches! ;-)
There must be new fixes in 0.22 that eliminate the warnings I used to
get from gcc. Actually it appears the fixes were in 0.21 but because
I'd automatically merged my changes from 0.17 and 0.18 I hadn't realized
that some of them were not entirely necessary any more....
