actually...no. what the hack does (from my point of view) is not care
if the crlf is there or not. so if it arrives in a separate packet,
it doesn't care.

the nat configuration in question is a sparc running 1.4_alpha. how
easy would it be for me to "import" 3.2.11beta6" to try it out?
