By defining the make environment variable NOPORTDOCS it is
possible to disable extraction, build and installation of
additional documenation other than the manual pages. However,
neither the resulting PLIST nor the pkgdb reflect this fact.
>How-To-Repeat:
Define NOPORTDOCS, install the package. Notice entries for
non- existent files in +CONTENTS and pkgdb. Delete the
package, notice warning output for those files.
