>Environment:
System: NetBSD dr-teeth 1.4 NetBSD 1.4 (TEETH) #3: Mon May 17 13:15:15 PDT 1999 root@dr-teeth:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/TEETH i386
>Description:
The patch /usr/pkgsrc/misc/pty-redir/patches/patch-ab hardcodes
/usr/pkg/bin into the pty-redir Makefile, preventing the mk.conf
variable LOCALBASE from performing its function for this package.
>How-To-Repeat:
In /etc/mk.conf, set LOCALBASE to something other than /usr/pkg.
Remove or rename /usr/pkg so the directory does not exist.
Then build and attempt to install pty-redir. /usr/pkg/bin will be
hardcoded into its patched Makefile.
>Fix:
Unclear. I don't know enough about the glue-code between the pkgsrc
Makefile and the pty-redir Makefile to know the Right way to fix this,
and since I don't have time to investigate right now, I thought I'd
just file a report of the problem before I forgot about it. :-)
