>Release: Stock NetBSD 1.4 <NetBSD-current source date>
>Environment:
System: NetBSD dr-teeth 1.4 NetBSD 1.4 (TEETH) #5: Mon Jun 14 12:20:28 EDT 1999 nocturne@dr-teeth:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/TEETH i386
>Description:
The cd(4) manpage gives an example that, while accurate for many
NetBSD platforms, is wrong in the case of the i386 platform:
> In addition the general scsi(4) ioctls may be used with the cd driver, if
> used against the `whole disk' partition (i.e. /dev/rcd0c).
The cd(4) manpage should be updated to reflect reality.
>How-To-Repeat:
>Fix:
Something to this general effect:
s#/dev/rcd0c#/dev/rcd0c, or /dev/rcd0d on the i386 platform#
