System: NetBSD phxtst05 1.4.1 NetBSD 1.4.1 (GENERIC) #38: Mon Aug 9 22:19:29 EST 1999 root@vlad:/usr/src/sys/arch/pmax/compile/GENERIC pmax

>Description:
When an ECC memory error occurs, it has the following form:
CPU memory read ECC error at 0x02db40a8
   ECC 0xe5009daa
Since the required action is to replace the affected memory module, the
error message should specify the module, rather than requiring the
user to perform a calculation in hexadecimal.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install a defective memory module in a 5000/2xx, boot NetBSD 1.4.1,
and observe logged errors.

>Fix:

Have a hexadecimal calculator available, in case of memory failure.
