NetBSD sangban.adreef.ppp 1.4.1 NetBSD 1.4.1 (GENERIC) #1: Tue Aug 10 00:03:09 MEST 1999

>Description:
become root
cd /usr/pkgsrc/www/communicator
make (or make fetch-list | sh)
At the end of fetching (ftp says: 100% |***| 14635 KB ...KB/s 00:00 ETA)
communicator-v461-export.x86-unknown-linuxglibc2.0.tar.gz,
the make-command hangs (i.e nothings happens anymore for hours).
The ftp-process is in netio-wait state; if you kill -HUP
(or stronger) it, a new fetch is started from a mirror.
Mirrors used sofar: ftp.netbsd.org, ftp.netscape.com, sunsite.unc.edu
Specific circumstances that might be relevant: the fetch is done over
a ppp-link to a Linux (SuSE 6.1) system doing masquerading (which
works perfectly for more then a year now) at 115200 Kbaud.
>How-To-Repeat:
