>Description:
Hardware: Compaq Deskpro XE560, pentium 60, 40MB RAM, IDE Drive,
NE2000 ethernet, 3COM 3C319 ISA tokenring adptr 16mb/sec.
nfsiod hangs when attempting to access data NFS mounted from a SUN.
Problem does not exist SUN->SUN.
Problem does not occur when NetBSD box acts as server, or when FTPing
or TCP streaming over Tokenring; only when NetBSD is client.
Problem does not exist between same two machines when using ethernet.
Commands queued and waiting for nfsiod can not be killed, and the machine
must be rebooted to clear mounts and/or processes waiting on nfsiod.
>How-To-Repeat:
NFS mount a volume via tokenring and attempt to untar or copy a large file.
>Fix:
Unknown. Suspect something to do with blocking sizes as Tokenring can
vary its frame size depending on ring load up to 18K
