>Description:
I rebuild the world tonight and since I installed it, and fixed the the
obvious sendmail configuration goo (thanks a lot there was a heads up
on current-users!!!), I get this when receiving uucp mails:
SYSERR(root): collect: Cannot write ./dfe46ABlG01929 (bfcommit, uid=66): Permission denied
SYSERR(root): queueup: cannot create queue temp file ./tfe46ABlG01929, uid=66): Permission denied
SYSERR(root): collect: Cannot write ./dfe46ABlp01930 (bfcommit, uid=66): Permission denied
SYSERR(root): collect: Cannot write ./dfe46ABlw01931 (bfcommit, uid=66): Permission denied
SYSERR(root): collect: Cannot write ./dfe46ABlB01932 (fflush||ferror, uid=66): Permission denied
uid 66 is uucp, probably rmail invoked via uuxqt.
Mail sent by local users fails the same way (as did the first attempt to send
this PR.
>How-To-Repeat:
Have your provider deliver mails via uucp. Loose badly.
>Fix:
chmod u+s /usr/libexec/sendmail/sendmail
