The aue usb ethernet autodetects correctly, but when I attempt to ifconfig the
device, the machine hangs. I've tested it on two i386 boxes, both
with uhci controllers. I also saw the problem under some later versions
of 1.4X. Early versions of 1.4X worked just fine.
