System: NetBSD cactus.emsi.priv.at 1.4ZD NetBSD 1.4ZD (CACTUS) #0: Mon Jun 19 09:22:04 CEST 2000 mjl@asparagus:/home/temp/devel/cvs/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/CACTUS i386
>Description:
When using an old newsyslog.conf, one gets:
asparagus# newsyslog
newsyslog: config line 7: bad permissions
Changing that line to have "root:wheel" instead of "root.wheel"
fixes things, but the manpage claims the dot syntax still works.
>How-To-Repeat:
See above.
>Fix:
Correct user/group parsing in newsyslog, or update the manpage.
