System: NetBSD scree 1.5_ALPHA NetBSD 1.5_ALPHA (SCREE) #3: Mon Jul 3 08:33:36 CEST 2000 hf@scree:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/SCREE i386
>Description:
The Ghostscript frontend "gv" uses the truetype library
libttf.so.3 from freetype-lib-1.2. But apparently it is not built with
the correct (ELF) library load-path.
>How-To-Repeat:
Build the NetBSD package print/gv and run it. You've seen the package system install freetype-lib-1.2 but gv does not know it's there.
>Fix:
"setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /usr/pkg/lib", but LD_LIBRARY_PATH is
deprecated for ELF.
Fix the NetBSD Imake configuration which is apparently responsible.
