Ah, the dangers of small font, late night hacking and insufficient
coffee.  That was barely english.  Lets try that one again.

I don't really like the idea of the "install over the top" either.  It
screws you too badly for include files in /usr/pkg/include.
/usr/pkg/include has to be deleted before the new pkg compilation
finds the outdated include files and uses them in preference to the
ones in its own tree.

Leaving the old dependencies around in /var/db/pkg/*/+REQUIRED_BY will
go a long way to making my life easier.
