>Description:
The secondary bootstrap (/usr/mdec/boot) crashes when trying to netboot:
(bootdevice tftp)

NetBSD/newsmips Secondary Boot

TLB miss exception (Load or instruction fetch)
cause=8, sr=40c404, badvaddr=4c, epc=a07066a0
[Freeze]

Compiled with BOOT_DEBUG (common and boot):

NetBSD/newsmips Secondary Boot
HB system.
howto = 0x0
bootdev = 0xffffffff
bootname = /tftpboot/a020005.news3400
maxmem = 0xff8000

TLB miss exception (Load or instruction fetch)
cause=8, sr=40c404, badvaddr=4c, epc=a0706800
[Freeze]

>How-To-Repeat:
See above
>Fix:
Not known, the workaround I use:
Make a copy of your kernel in ecoff format with objcopy(1) and
boot that with tftpboot (in usr/mdec.mips) from NEWS OS 4.1.
