NetBSD xena.zhadum.de 1.5_ALPHA2 NetBSD 1.5_ALPHA2 (XENA) #0: Mon Aug 28 18:29:36 CEST 2000 tron@xena.zhadum.de:/src/sys/compile/XENA arm32
>Description:
After the conversion from "pkglibtool" to "libtool" the KDE packages
are broken on "a.out" systems. Obviously "/usr/lib/c++rt0.o" is not
linked to the shared libraries any more which causes static constructors
to fail:
===> Configuring for kdebase-1.1.2
[...]
checking for KDE... libraries /usr/X11R6/lib, headers /usr/X11R6/include
checking for KDE paths... compiling
checking for KDE headers installed... yes
checking for KDE libraries installed... yes
Segmentation fault
Segmentation fault
configure: error: configure could not run a little KDE program to test the environment.
Since it had compiled and linked before, it must be a strange problem on your system.
Look at config.log for details. If you are not able to fix this, look at
http://www.kde.org/faq/installation.html or any www.kde.org mirror.
(If you're using an egcs version on Linux, you may update binutils!)
*** Error code 1
Stop.
===> Installing in /src/NetBSD-current/pkgsrc/graphics/kdegraphics
===> Validating dependencies for kdegraphics-1.1.2
>How-To-Repeat:
cd pkgsrc/x11/kdebase
make install
>Fix:
Finish "libtool" conversion.
