	a fat32 partition on my laptop can't be accessed via
	fsck_msdos. it fails with the error:
		backup doesn't compare to primary bootblock
	(without a trailing newline btw).

	the filesystem doesn't report any errors with the disk check
	in win2k.

	using partition magic to convert from fat32->fat results in a
	filesystem that netbsd can mount and use without problems,
	but that's not a good solution since not everyone has the
	access to tools to do the conversion.

	have a fat32 partition that fsck_msdos doesn't like.
	the partition was recently formatted (about 3000MB in size)
	and only had a couple of files on it, including a 300MB tar
	file.
