>Description:
PHP4 is still not in pkgsrc, and I don't have the expertise to hand
compile it :-(
>How-To-Repeat:
An attempt at manual installation was made with the following flags to configure, nicked from /usr/pkgsrc/www/php3/Makefile:
CPPFLAGS=-L/usr/pkg ./configure --with-apxs --with-mysql=/usr/pkg --prefix=/usr/pkg --with-system-regex --with-gdbm=/usr/pkg --with-yp --with-zlib --with-dbase --with-filepro --with-config-file-path=/usr/pkg/etc --with-exec-dir=/usr/pkg/libexec/php4 --enable-track-vars --enable-force-cgi-redirect --enable-discard-path --enable-memory-limit --enable-sysvsem --enable-sysvshm --without-gd
However, when trying to start Apache with the module, it barfs:
/usr/libexec/ld.so: Undefined symbol "_gdbm_version" in httpd:/usr/pkg/lib/httpd/libphp4.so
Clearly, I'm out of my depth, otherwise I'd make a nice PHP4 package and submit it myself :-)
