NetBSD-1.5, using boot1.fs and boot2.fs for floppy boot
Compaq Proliant 5000, 64mb, 1 PPro processor, 1 NetFlex/P
PCI ethernet card, 2 DEFEA EISA FDDI cards,
1 Compaq SmartArray 2/E EISA card.
>Description:
The kernel boots, detects the EISA bus (from what I can tell as
standalone i.e. not off a PCI bus), probes devices on the EISA bus
(correctly sees the 2 DEFEAs and "device CPQ4030 at eisa0 slot 3
not configured" (the smartarrat 2/e). Later on, the eisa bus is
seen again, and a panic occurs.
From the Compaq docs I've read, the machine has 2 PCI busses, with
EISA bus hanging off the 1st PCI bus.
Ten-finger copy of the boot messages up until failure (at least what
I can see):
[fea0 and fea1 configu messages]
device CPQ4030 at eisa0 slot 3 not configured
eisa0: can't map I/O space for slot 5
eisa0: can't map I/O space for slot 6
