FYI version 3.4 of xbuffy has been available since at least Aug. 30 1999 from:

	ftp://ftp.virginia.EDU/pub/xbuffy/

The most important change in 3.4 is:

	Added support for using C-Client to check mailboxes (thanks to Tim Culver for
	providing the original code).  This allows Xbuffy to know about a lot more 
	mailbox formats including MMDF, IMAP, MH, MAILDIR, and others.
	
(BTW, xbuffy is indeed the best mailbox watcher for x11! :-)
