	cd /pkgsrc/graphics/pixmap
	make; make install
	rehash
	pixmap
	... watch it dump core immediately

	Apply the four patches  pixmap_2.6.patch1 ... pixmap_2.6.patch4,
	which are found together with the distribution file at
	ftp.x.org and its mirror sites (and also apply the NetBSD
