>Description:
Running 'pkg_info -a' with PKG_PATH set to an FTP site
opens a connection to the site for reading the contents of the
package. Specifically pkg_info complains that it cannot read
+COMMENT.
I see no reason for trying to read the package file?
The information I want is in /var/db/pkg/...
Setting PKG_PATH to a directory with package files seems to do the
same (the package files are read) except that the command does'nt
display any error messages.
>How-To-Repeat:
setenv PKG_PATH ftp://nowhere.com/
pkg_info
>Fix:
I can work around the bug by 'unsetenv PKG_PATH' before running
pkg_info -a.
