It wasn't same note PC but desktop with PC card slot.

From some people's report, this problem depends on some hardware, my
note PC:

With PCMCIA mode, it gives same result.  Worked 1.5 based machine:

pcic0: controller 1 (Intel 82365SL Revision 1) has no sockets
