	I disagree.  in most of the NIS installations (from my university
	days) they used NIS domain name totally different from DNS domain name,
	I saw documents that recommended strongly against the use of the
	same string, because of "security from obscurity" reasons.
	anyway, i do not feel like merging the part of the patch.
