>Description:
pkg/10587 discusses updating the Star Office pkg to support SO
5.2, and appears to still be open.
The 5.2 installer is less than friendly towards being installed on
BSD at all, much less living in a pkg, but now our pkg is entirely
broken as the 5.1 files seem to be gone (if they've even been on
Sun's site all this time).
>How-To-Repeat:
Try to find a way to open a Word Perfect document on your
perfectly good NetBSD workstation. Be completely stymied.
(Thoughts on how to deal with that are welcome privately to my
email address, incidentally.)
>Fix:
Steal the FreeBSD port setup for StarOffice 5.2?
See
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/editors/staroffice52/
I don't know if port2pkg will grok this, and I'm not sure I've got
time to mess with it now, but I may.
