Kernel is from trunk. The machine is a TiG4. It has the ``hybrid
wdc'' patch appled.
>Description:
The GDB test ``sigall.exp'' creates a sub-process (of expect) called
sigall and then sends signals to it.
The process refuses to die (kill -9). It just sits there chewing up
CPU time.
ac131313@nettle$ ps wux | grep sigall
ac131313 19108 98.8 0.2 28 472 p3 RNX+ 10:27AM 50:04.45 /home/scratch/GDB/mi/gdb/testsuite/gdb.base/sigall
Killing its parent (expect) and then killing the child (sigall) does
work.
>How-To-Repeat:
Fetch a current gdb+dejagnu tar-ball from
http://sources.redhat.com/gdb/#download .
Configure, build, run the test sigall.exp:
gmake check-gdb RUNTESTFLAGS='--debug sigall.exp'
