Why not have the installer let you choose a kernel the way you choose
sets, or to have the bootlap* floppies install kern-laptop.tgz by
default, and especially to have boot-tiny.fs install kern-tiny? I'm
talking "in general", not like it's supposed to happen for 1.5.1.

OK, I'm sure they do, too. :-)

I'd rather releng worked on getting the release out, than fielding
impractical requests. I'd really hate to see this release delayed
another two or three months for minutae. IMO, it was a real tragedy
the way 1.4.3 was delayed many months and wasn't finally released
until after 1.5 was.
