>Environment:
Quadra 700, RasterOps 8/24XLi
System: NetBSD Quadrilator.2y.net 1.5.1_BETA NetBSD 1.5.1_BETA (GENERIC) #1: Fri Apr 13 20:33:29 EDT 2001 briggs@oldpuma.macbsd.com:/b/src/sys/arch/mac68k/compile/GENERIC mac68k
>Description:
The RasterOps 8/24XLi card don't probe correctly when use as second monitor. The rowbytes, psize and consequently the fbsize are not read correctly from the car
When use in 256 colors mode:
Device /dev/grf1
mode_id: 0
fbbase: 0x2f90000
fbsize: 0xd8000
fboff: 0x0
rowbytes: 1152
width: 1024
height: 768
hres: 0
vres: 0
ptype: 0
psize: 1
mmap succeeded, 0x040ab000
ioctl succeeded, 0xfd000000
Because of that the display in concentrated on the left side of the monitor.
>How-To-Repeat:
Boot netbsd with a RasterOps 8/24XLi set as second monitor in a color depth other than B&W.
>Fix:
Hardcode the correct values in the kernel, but that's not a good thing to do.
