The recent change to squid to use "diskd" by default breaks
existing squid.conf files that use "cache_dir ufs ...".
Starting squid results in:
Starting squid.
FATAL: Unknown cache_dir type 'ufs'
Squid Cache (Version 2.4.STABLE2): Terminated abnormally.
CPU Usage: 0.046 seconds = 0.015 user + 0.031 sys
Maximum Resident Size: 0 KB
Page faults with physical i/o: 43
Abort trap - core dumped

Update squid to the latest version in pkgsrc and start it
without changing your existing squid.conf.
>Fix:
Changing "ufs" to "diskd" in my squid.conf ``fixed'' the
problem, but the old config still should have worked.
