	This kernel was compiled with BUFCACHE=20 and NVNODE=20480.

	On "shutdown -r now", the kernel prints "syncing disks...",
	followed by a longish sequence of integers, and then "giving
	up".  The disks are not cleanly unmounted.  This happens
	regardless of whether the file systems are mounted with the
	softdep option.

>How-To-Repeat:
	
	Boot a 1.5.3_ALPHA kernel with the 2001-11-25 dirpref pull-up.
	From multi-user mode, run "shutdown -r now", and brace for
	fsck on restart.  Very little prior disk activity is required
	for the	problem to manifest itself.

>Fix:
	
	The workaround reported in PR kern/11583 works here also:
	run "shutdown now" to drop to single-user mode, and then run
	"reboot".
