>Environment:
System: NetBSD tautology.immanent.net 1.5.3_ALPHA NetBSD 1.5.3_ALPHA (TAUTOLOGY) #0: Fri Dec 14 22:49:47 CST 2001 fredb@tautology.immanent.net:/s/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/TAUTOLOGY i386
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
>Description:
www/lynx/Makefile rev 1.44 broke the the "ncurses" option www/lynx.
On 1.5.3_ALPHA, it can't even be coaxed to attempt to build with
ncurses; on 1.4.3, it tries, but breaks. This is a loss in functionality
with no commensurate benefit.
>How-To-Repeat:
Set "LYNX_SCREEN_LIB=ncurses" in ${MAKECONF} and try to build.
>Fix:
Revert revision 1.44. As "lynx"'s configure script does not pull
in any libraries or packages not asked for on the command line,
there was no technical reason to "Buildlink"'ify it in the first
place, and now important functionality is missing.
