The word "mode" isn't duplicated - the second occurance is the argument
name as described in the synopsis.  Instead of "created with mode
_mode_", it could have said "created with mode _foo_" if the synopsis
used "foo" instead of "mode".

Based on this, are you happy for the PR to be closed with no further
action?
