in the nbmake file vis:
# USE_NEW_TOOLCHAIN=yes sh -x ./build.sh -u -b -m ofppc -w ~/bin/nbmake-ofppc -D
 ~/NetBSD/root -O ~/NetBSD/obj
(yes ok the ~wouldn't appear)

Suggest an option for embeddeding the path into the nbmake file.
Often the path used to build the kernel isn't the normal path.
