>Description:
I built a package for Sun's Jini. Here's the DESCR:
=====
This is a package of Sun's Jini Technology Starter Kit, consisting of the
Jini Technology Core Platform (JCP), the Jini Technology Extended Platform
(JXP) and the Jini Software Kit (JSK).
Jini[tm] network technology provides a simple infrastructure for delivering
services in a network and for creating spontaneous interaction between
programs that use these services regardless of their hardware/software
implementation.
=====
I'm not sure how to properly implement the MASTERSITE part,
as one has to agree to their license before downloading the
original sources. Also, they have a somewhat annoying
naming-convention for their tarball, which is why
I re-packaged their tarball.
Finally, I'm not a Jini-developer, so I can't really verify
that the package installs into the best place (maybe it
should go into /usr/pkg/java/jini?).
>How-To-Repeat:
http://guinness.cs.stevens-tech.edu/~jschauma/jini-1.2-pkg.tar.gz
contains the pkgsrc-files and the re-packaged original tarball.
>Fix:
Somebody with more of a clue might want to take a look at this
package - I just thought it's be nice to have the Jini-stuff as
a package. If there's no interest, please ignore this message. :)
