System: NetBSD kabel208244 1.5ZA NetBSD 1.5ZA (PAALHUIS) #0: Fri Mar 8 00:01:23 CET 2002 root@kabel208244:/usr/sources/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/PAALHUIS i386
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
>Description:
On the Trust ne2000 ISA combo cards based on the RTL8019, the media type is
not selectable with ifconfig ... `ifconfig -m ne1' shows that the card is
capable of 10base2, 10baseT, 10baseT mediaopt full-duplex and autoselect.
When issueing `ifconfig ne1 10baseT' it refuses to go to half duplex and gives
a `ifconfig: SIOCSIFMEDIA: Invalid argument' ... other media types give the
same ioctl error.
>How-To-Repeat:
Use a ne2000 card with autoselect that fails.
>Fix:
not known.... where are the ioctl's handled? are there even ioctl handled?
