>Description:
After trying to install Apache package from source I got this error:
checksum mismatch for expat-1.95.2.tar.gz
Make sure the Makefile and checksum file ( /usr/pkgsrc/textproc/expat/distinfo ) are up to
date.
Thank you,
Andrea - Italy
>How-To-Repeat:
-- Installed 1.5.2 from release CD.
-- Setup my connection to internet with my local network.
-- Get pkgsrc.tar.gz from
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/Net...rrent/tar_files
-- Installed them with
tar -xzvpf pkgsrc.tar.gz -C /usr
-- updated the pkg_tools using
cd /usr/pkgsrc/pkgtools/pkg_install
make install
-- try to install apache using
cd /usr/pkgsrc/www/apache
make enable=most enable-shared=max
After some time I got the error reported into Full Description Form.
>Fix:
Before installing apache I installed expat binary package 1.95.2 with pkg_add, then the apache installation was ok.
