I'm running 1.5.2 on an SS10 and have used the commands

     setenv input-device ttya
     setenv output-device ttya

at the `ok' prompt to make it use a serial console, which works fine.
However, when any key on the SS10's keyboard is pressed (at least the
three or four I've tried at random) the machine stops with:

     <#2> ok

and 'boot' or 'restart' need to be used to get it to reboot.  When 
'go' is typed it says "No program is active. "

If startx is executed ffrom the serial console before the normal 
keyboard is touched, the normal keyboard can be used with the 
resulting X session without any problem.
