System: NetBSD penfret.antioche.eu.org 1.6_BETA2 NetBSD 1.6_BETA2 (PENFRET) #1: Wed Jun 19 13:26:08 MEST 2002 bouyer@penfret.antioche.eu.org:/home/sources/src/sys/arch/alpha/compile/PENFRET alpha
Architecture: alpha
Machine: alpha

tlp0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
        address: 00:40:05:36:74:e0
        media: Ethernet 10base2
        supported Ethernet media:
                media 10baseT
                media 10baseT mediaopt full-duplex
                media 10base2

>Description:
I have a machine with an old adapter. If has 10baseT and 10base2 media
available, but no autoselect. At boot it defaults to 10baseT, but
	network is connected to 10base2.
While doing a 1.6 upgrade from ftp, in network setup doesn't let
me chose the media. After entering the last network parameters (DNS
and gateway), it display the network settings including media: 10baseT
and ask if it's OK. I never had a chance to select the media.

>How-To-Repeat:
>Fix:
workaround: from main sysinst menu, exit sysinst, type,
ifconfig tlp0 media 10base2, restart sysinst.
