I chose to install NetBSD 1.6beta5 from the daily snapshots. I used
bootlap1.fs and bootlap2.fs, which use the GENERIC.laptop kernel. However,
they do install a GENERIC kernel on the newly installed system instead of
GENERIC.laptop.
