-2 (signed) == 4294967294 (unsigned) on 32bit integer.
Make sure you don't have 2 'nobody' users on the server, one with
uid/gid 60001, one with uid/gid -2. Historically 'nobody' has been
-2/-2 on sun, and there may be one lying around.
Did you try
chown 60001:60001 60001
on the server ?
