>Description:
KDE applications like kview and the kdesktop configuration tool
do not display jpeg images. I submitted a bug report to KDE, and they indicated that the NetBSD KDE binaries may have been created without proper jpeg support.
>How-To-Repeat:
Open kview, select a jpeg from the selection box - returns with "No image loaded". Open KDE control center -> Look & Feel -> Background; choose wallpaper tab; select a wallpaper jpg file and click apply; no wallpaper appears.
