SunOS unknown 5.8 Generic_108528-15 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-5_10
>Description:
Solaris comes with xgettext but it is not GNU xgettext. Programs like /usr/pkgsrc/devel/xgettext's configure script expect --version to work and to grep out a gnu.
>How-To-Repeat:
in SunOS 5.8 cd /usr/pkgsrc/devel/popt;cvs update -d -P;bmake clean;bmake install
>Fix:
I suppose we can:
overwrite solaris' xgettext (this will break stuff)
add a USE_GNU_XGETTEXT to mk and patch ports
or just add ports
