>Description:
avifile versioning does not follow the convention.
>How-To-Repeat:
I installed avifile-devel:
$ pkg_info | egrep avifile
avifile-0.6.20010814nb1 MPEG-4 (DivX) video player library
The pkgsrc has graphics/avifile, which is version 0.53.5.
Now, I compare the installed version (= -devel) to pkgsrc version
using pkg_info:
$ pkg_info -e 'avifile>0.53.5'; echo $?
1
Strange! It should be true.
>Fix:
Change avifile versions, or support avifile-style versioning.
