When I installed snort using "make update" I don't think the
"contrib" subdirectory got installed. I put it into
/usr/pkg/etc/snort, but there is probably a better place to
put it (like /usr/pkg/share/examples/snort)

I'm not sure, but it's probably sonething incredibly simple for
someone that already knows how to use the Makefile. In fact,
putting all of the configuration file stuff in
/usr/pkg/share/exmaples/snort might not be a bad idea.
