Terminal input on the console serial line does not work anymore on (at least)
KA650, KA660 and KA680 systems. Probably on all systems that use gencons.c .
Looking at the source, i would guess that gencninit is never called.

Use -current on one of these systems...

Very quick kludge: put a "mptr(GC_RIE, PR_RXCS);" in function gencnopen(), at the top.
(This, of course, makes the system a bit unstable...)
