>Description:

This extremely-common PCMCIA wireless network card fails to work out of the
box with netbsd-1-6. It is supported in -current.

>How-To-Repeat:

Go to any Best Buy or Staples. Shell out for a Netgear MA401, assuming that
such a common card will be supported. Note that it is not configured by the
kernel.

>Fix:

Apply pull-up request 773. This card is already supported, but under a
different name and manufacturer ID. Adding support is trivial. It works
beautifully under 1.6 with the minor changes required to recognize the
card.

There is no excuse for our not supporting this VERY COMMON hardware. The
pull-up request came in before 1.6 was released.
